LIGHTCANVAS

Firefly

Part Sign | Part Screen | Part Sculpture

The Firefly represents a new way to communicate color and imagery in physical space. Designed and engineered using our Lightcanvas technology, it ventures beyond the rectangular plane of pixels to explore depth, diffusion, and complex form.

Under the Hood

Comprised of over 10,000 individually addressable LEDs running at 60fps, 781 custom components, advanced computer vision sensors, and onboard media servers with cloud CMS, the TSE Firefly is as sophisticated as it is powerful.

A Powerful First Impression

Passive State
With soft monochromatic colors and a form inspired by ThreeSixtyEight brand patterns, the firefly serves as beautiful entry signage — adding aesthetic value even without the assistance of underlying technology.

Active State
Infusing the entry with color, texture, and movement, the firefly becomes a living art piece — reflecting the vibrant creative pulse of ThreeSixtyEight’s amazing workplace.

Contextual Awareness

Using advanced computer vision, the firefly can respond to the presence and movement of guests with real-time reactive content. The integrated CMS also allows for scheduling themed looks based on calendar events. Whether it’s dressed for the holidays or donned in the brand colors of a high-profile client, the Firefly is both adaptable and automated.

Ultimate Mobility

When you’re ready to steal the show, the firefly breaks from its architectural resting place and transforms into a freestanding digital backdrop for banner events and stage productions. Designed with portability in mind, the assembly quickly collapses onto a custom steel transport cart that also functions as a rolling stand.
